Korean society
& culture
Social change, institutions, identity and cultural life in South Korea.
I'm Luca Frieling, a BBA student at Siam University in Bangkok. My developing research interests sit at the intersection of Korean Studies, society, media and digital culture.
I’m drawn to the ways societies shape culture—and how media, technology and institutions reshape it in return.
Alongside my undergraduate studies, I pursue independent research interests in Korean society and cultural industries. Earlier work in digital content creation also informs the way I think about platforms, audiences and creative work.
